Stella Maris
Every year the town of Camogli celebrates Stella Maris: a festival of the sea, where flickering candles are set adrift on the water.
But in our enchanted version, the real celebration belongs to the fish. They light up the sea with the carefree joy of those who, just for once, won’t end up in a frying pan.
A Camogli si celebra ogni anno la Festa della Stella Maris, che culmina con la posa di lumini in mare.
Nella nostra versione “fatata”, sono i pesci i veri protagonisti e accendono la festa con la leggerezza di chi, per una volta, non finisce in padella.
The Fish "Triptych"
Stella Maris is part of “The Revenge of the Fish” illustration project. Because Camogli may be known for its Fish Festival,
but what if the fish were the ones telling the story?Cosmic Fish dedicates this triptych to the creatures of the sea:
– during the Fish Festival, they cook up a fisherman’s omelette;
– on the night of San Fortunato, they light the bonfires;
– on Stella Maris, they dive among the floating candles.Stella Maris fa parte del progetto illustrato “La Rivincita dei Pesci”. Perché Camogli sarà anche famosa per la Sagra del Pesce, ma cosa accadrebbe se, per una volta, fossero i pesci a raccontare la storia?
Cosmic Fish dedica questo trittico alle creature del mare:
– alla Sagra, cucinano un’omelette di pescatori;
– nella notte di San Fortunato, accendono i falò;
– alla Stella Maris, si tuffano tra i lumini galleggianti.
